O King of the Gentiles and theDesired of the nations, you are the cornerstonethat binds two into one. Come, and save poorhumankind whom you fashioned out of clay. O Antiphons

O Rising Dawn,Radiance of the Light eternal and Sun of Justice;come, and enlighten those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death, O Antiphons

O Key of David and Scepter of the house of Israel:you open and no one closes;you close and no one opens.Come, and deliver us from the chains of prison,we who sit in darkness and the shadow of death. O Antiphons

O Root of Jesse,You stand for an ensign of humankind;before you leaders keep silence,and to you all nations shall have recourse.Come, save us, and do not delay, O Antiphons

Adonai, you are the covenant maker and the promise giver. You appeared to Moses in the burning bush and gave him the Commandments. Come, set us free to serve you. O Antiphons

Wisdom, playing before God from the beginning, the dance of all creation comes from you. You keep our world spinning. Come, teach us the order of things, the steps of your dance. O Antiphons
