If I say ‘Surely the darkness shall cover me and the light around me become night’ even the darkness is not dark to you. The night is as bright as the day, for darkness is as light to you.

O God, it is your will to hold heaven and earth in a single peace. Let the design of your great love shine on the waste of our wraths and sorrows, and from them fashion great peace in your church and compassion among your people. Give us peace in our communities, peace in our homes,
I am the Lord, I have called you in righteousness,I have taken you by the hand and kept you,I have given you as a covenant to the people,a light to the nations,to open the eyes that are blind,to bring out the prisoners from the dungeon,from the prison those who sit in darkness. Isaiah 42.5-7
