Prayer of the Day

Loving God, Giver of life. Help us recognize and value who we really are—made in your image, holy in your likeness. Help us see ourselves as you see us—able to give life and love. Amen.

Lord Jesus Christ, son of the Living God, have mercy on me. Open my heart to your love for me and your love for the world.

Loving God, through our observance of Lent, help me to understand the meaning of Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection and reflect it in my life.

Holy Spirit, Wisdom, your breath gives life to the world.Your wings send shivers through the waters of the deep.Your silence is the wellspring of all words.We live in the house you set for us.May we walk in beauty.May we trust the fragile threads of the web in which you hold us.  Amen.
