Prayer of Archbishop Romero This is what we are about: We plant the seeds that some day will grow.  We water seeds already planted, knowing that they hold future promise.  We lay foundations that will need further development.  We provide yeast that produces effects far beyond our capabilities.

Holy Spirit, Wisdom, your breath gives life to the world.Your wings send shivers through the waters of the deep.Your silence is the wellspring of all words.We live in the house you set for us.May we walk in beauty.May we trust the fragile threads of the web in which you hold us.  Amen.

Bless this new year, Loving God.I ask that your power of love will be with meas I begin this year of grace, 2023.May I be a blessing this dayand every day for those I meet.

Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me. Psalm 51: 10-12
