Prayer of the Day
Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner.
Jesus, bless the time we spend together this year. Open our hearts to one another and to your Word. Give us courage, wisdom, and generosity to be able to share our lives and be open to others here. Amen.

O Lord, you know how busy I must be this day. If I forget you, do not forget me. Sir Jacob Astley
God of the poor help us rescue the abandoned and forgotten of this earth, so precious in your eyes. Bring healing to our lives, That we may protect the world and not prey on it. That we may sow beauty, not pollution and destruction. We wish to be one with Pope Francis In this resolve.
May you become ancestors who see your children’s children. May you become known for the hospitality of your table. May God favor you with friends who respect you and troubles that neglect you. May God bless your home and all who are home to you.

Lord, you are closer to me than my own breathing, nearer than my hands and feet. St Teresa of Avila
