Teen Lent Retreat 2012

The season of Lent happens in spring for a reason. Christians prepare to celebrate Jesus' death and resurrection to new life at the same time the trees are budding out and tulips burst into color. Nature's coming to life encourages our own coming to life. Spring helps us remember the promise of Jesus' new life.

Lent is a season for more than giving up candy. Lent is 40 days long to give us time to practice new skills, especially spiritual ones such as ways to pray and to see Christ in one another.

This retreat has four parts. Each part will invite you not just to read but to pray and reflect about your life and commitments. Do the retreat in four visits or at your own pace.
